Selvedge Graph
A governed longitudinal-state platform. It holds a long-run record of an individual and turns it into conclusions that are true of that person, not true on average, with the receipts to prove it.
Four properties, engineered in.
- Individually true
- The same word means different things to different people. The Graph is built on that premise: conclusions derive from the person's own record, and populations emerge upward from individuals, never the reverse.
- Accountable
- Every conclusion can be traced back to the specific observations behind it and re-checked against them. Nothing is asserted that cannot be shown.
- Self-governed
- The record belongs to the person it describes. Consent is explicit and revocable, and erasure is real: an actual removal the system is built to survive, not a flag on a row.
- Honest by construction
- When the record is too thin to support a conclusion, the Graph says nothing. Silence is what earned conclusions cost.
Domain-general by design.
The Graph is not a fitness product. It is the substrate for any product that keeps a long-run record of a person and wants its claims about that person to be provable: coaching and health, personal AI assistants and companions, education, performance: anywhere "we know our user" has to survive an audit, a regulator, or the user's own question.
Its first production deployment is in personal fitness: Petey, where it has run continuously against real training, recovery, and self-report data. The domain vocabulary is configuration; the governance is the product.
