Most software that "learns about you" is an unaccountable accumulation. It ingests everything, forgets nothing on purpose and everything by accident, and cannot say why it believes what it believes.

Longitudinal state should be governed the way real infrastructure is governed: selective about what it admits, accountable for what it concludes, honest about what it does not know, and able to let go of what it holds.

The Graph holds a long-run record of a person (training, recovery, habits, self-reports) and draws conclusions that are true of that person, rather than true on average.
